Signing Day

Big Day today at the FOC. National signing Day where high school players finally ink their name and make it official. Liberty had four goals this recruiting season.
1. Dominate the state of Virginia. 5 out of the 9 recruits are from Virginia.
2. Big Bodies. 7 out of the nine players are offensive, defensive lineman with great size. Throw in the linebacker and you have a great base to build on.
3. Depth at the secondary. Two players in Kirby Anderson and Miles Hunter add depth to the secondary.
4. Sign another Quarterback. That was done with the signing of Josh Woodrum from Cave Springs. He has a very bright future at 6>03 and 205 pounds. Josh was the 36th rated player in the state of Virginia, while Offensive line Grant Jones was ranked 33rd. Both of these young men were the highest rated players in the state that signed at the FCS level.

All the signees attended the Danny Rocco Football Camp or were here for junior day.
Food for thought. Liberty has won four consecutive conference championships with three different quarterbacks which is rare these days. Brock Smith, Tommy Beecher and Mike Brown. Please visit the link to watch the hi-light videos of the recruits.
